Review:

Chilling. Blood curdling. Creepy. Demonic.

Between the Page: A collection of three short stories offers it all. This is a horror fans dream book. Each story is uniquely different offering a new fear to arise.  Once you start reading you will continue your way through unable to put the book down.

While I previously read Cotton Tale and The Rain as standalone, Between the Page is a new short for me. And one that is only offered within this trio book. I would say it is one that you would not one to miss and will leaving never see a bookstore in the same light, well antique odd-looking books anyways.

I was blown away by the plots of each of these shorts. With the vastness that Fisher provides I guarantee that at least one if not all three will send chills down your spine.

Between the Pages, Cotton Tale and The Rain are really the best combinations of horrors too included together within one collection. Do keep in mind that the stories are not connected in any way. Which means you could read one or all three and, in any order, that you like.

I would say That I most enjoyed Between the Page, it captured my love of reading a quickly turned it against me. I am by no means saying that Cotton Tale or The Rain are lacking in fact it is the opposite. Both of them just offer a different aspect of horror.

I think that what I really enjoyed about this was the different horror level and types of horror that were brought forth. By type I mean you have Demonic, mutations and mysterious. Well they all have a tad bit of mystery in them.

My final words yes read this book because I wasn’t a horror fan before but if Fisher keeps this up I’ll be able to say that I am.

  4. I’m a little bit of a scaredy cat, so typically horror isn’t something I pick for myself. However, these stories are so engaging I don’t think I can miss them. They’ll be perfect stories for October.
